Shockwave Motors participated in the Cleantech Open's annual Global Forum and Pitch Contest.

Shockwave Motors recently participated in the Cleantech Open's annual Global Forum, including a Cleantech business showcase expo, an investor connect "speed dating" match-up with industry specific investors, a speaker series, and a head-to-head pitch competitions. More than 100 start-ups were part of the competition, and while it's disappointing we did not win; we are proud to say we finished in the top ten companies in the United States.

The Defiant EV3 Electric Roadster is a hardtop/convertible seating three people. The battery is strategically located to allow easy access and provides an ultralow center of gravity for superior stability. It travels 50 miles on the electricity needed to produce one gallon of gasoline and has a single charge range of 100 miles. It recharges from a 120-volt outlet (approximately 8 hours) providing a daily range of 200 miles - all this for less than the average price of a used vehicle!
