GLOBAL SOLAR INDUSTRY CONVENES AT INTERSOLAR INDIA CONFERENCE

Mumbai, India and Pforzheim/Freiburg, Germany, December 09, 2011 – On December 14, Intersolar India once again opens its doors to the solar industry. In just its third year, the event is already India's largest exhibition for solar technology. The accompany-ing Intersolar India Conference kicks off one day ahead of the exhibition at the Leela Kempinski Hotel in Mumbai, and runs until December 15, 2011, continuing at the Bombay Exhibition Centre (BEC) for the final day. Around 100 speakers from industry, politics, research and associations and around 700 participants from all over the world are expected at the conference. The event shines a light on hot topics from the photovoltaics and solar thermal industries. In addition to presenting international views on markets and technologies, the program of events focuses on the challenges and trends in the Indian market. The conference covers topics such as project development, project management, construction and operation of photovoltaic plants, as well as compliance and monitoring of set quality standards.
