SOLAR ENERGY CENTRE IN INDIA
Solar Energy Centre (Figure - 01) is the institute established in India with a view to encourage research in the field of solar technology as a viable alternate energy system. It is located at the 19th milestone on the Gurgaon-Faridabad road in Haryana state of India, and is established on a gently sloping site covering about 200 acres in a suburban setting, where climate is hot and dry with summer temperatures reaching as high as 47 degrees C. Its aspect of related with solar energy can be very well observed from its building design.

THE HISTORY OF HYDROGEN
One of the most serious gases we must use is Hydrogen - in our cars, buses, Space shots from the cape etc. I have been studying Hydrogen, Propane and many Bio-fuels and have found hydrogen to be the best, the oldest and the cleanest. I feel this alternative product is a win -win.
WHAT THE HECK IS A SMART GRID?
Nowadays we have several issues to face that are causing concern to humanity in general and the western world specifically. I don't think I need to repeat them here but basically they are environmental as well as geopolitical in nature. Hence, the old coal or oil burning power plant needs to be phased out and we must become much more efficient at generating and delivering electricity to end users or the costs become extraordinary over time.
WHY 2 BLADED ROTORS MAKE SENSE
One of the greatest advantages of two bladed rotors is the cost savings realized by the elimination of a blade. Although it can be argued that a teetering hub is more complex and costly than the rigid hub of a three bladed rotor, technological advances have reduced this complexity and cost. For example elastomeric bearings for the teeter hinge have eliminated the need for ball or roller bearings and the maintenance associated with these components.
ECO-SHEET COMPARES ENERGY SOURCES
The eco-sheet shows that there is no silver bullet solution. When looking at CO2 emissions only, it would be clear what options to take. However, this is not the only environmental consideration. Not preferring any particular method of electricity generation, the eco-sheet lists the main environmental impact categories and benchmarks them against the electricity generation mixes for the EU 25 and EU 15.
LEAD-CARBON: ALTERNATIVE ENERGY STORAGE
Lead-carbon batteries are different from other types of batteries because they combine the high energy density of a battery and the high specific power of a supercapacitor in a single low-cost device. The primary goals of lead-carbon research have been to extend the cycle lives of lead-acid batteries and increase their power.
RENEWABLE ENERGY SYSTEMS AND ENERGY STORAGE
The grid will need to be totally redesigned to integrate small generation inputs from PV, wind, biomass and other more sustainable system inputs, the majority of which will need to utilize energy storage to provide reliable energy reduction.

Jet travel has both been a time saver and a giant waste of energy. More fuel has been consumed in jet travel than by all the cars in the US combined. About 19.4 billion gallons of fuel are consumed by air travel within the US. Since these planes cannot use an alternative fuel, conservation is the only answer.
A CEDIA LOW-VOLTAGE INITIATIVE PROPOSAL
Somewhere in the mid 1980's, the NAHB Research Center in Washington was run by a guy I knew (whose name I can't seem to dig up) who had a wacky vision. His idea was to reinvent the way electrical power was distributed throughout the home. They called it Smart Home (not to be confused with the Disney movie of the same name or other stuff that uses that name now). I think it was the first use of the name.
