22 MW aleo modules for solar park in the Philippines / independent study attests to aleo module "bankability"
The 22MW project on the central Philippine island of Leyte incorporates aleo monocrystalline modules manufactured at the factory in Germany. The solar park, which is one of the world's largest solar parks in which modules with CELCO technology are used, will be connected to the grid in March 2016.
Bill now moves on for Gov. Brown's signature
Both of multi-crystalline and mono-crystalline module prices decrease this week, due to the slowdown of global demand and the price competition lead by Chinese module makers. Some major markets, such as China, Europe, and Japan, are to step into the traditional slow season in March, therefore, solar panel prices are under pressure following the demand weakening. Moreover, the price competition which leads by Chinese module makers also pressurizes solar panel prices. As leveraging their capacities outside China, some Chinese module makers can import their products into the U.S. and Europe without paying the punitive tariff, and using the price competition to gain more market shares in these regions.
Installers regain trust in the SolarMax brand Ellzee, 03.03.2016. Borken/Münsterland based ELEKTROKASS was one of the first to sign up to the new SolarMax Premium Installer (SPI) programme. This concept sees the solar inverter manufacturer stocking an external store on its customers' premises with the required replacement devices. This saves delivery trips to the end customer and reduces replacement time for defective string inverters to a minimum.
Now with Bright, the software maker aims to assist solar PV owners and operators in the same way - by lowering the cost of operations, monitoring portfolios of projects on a real time basis and maximizing energy output.

Joe Carmichael for Inverse: Buffett, in an interview with CNBC on Monday, responded to viewer questions about this clash (a clash that Bloomberg Business intensified with a cover story): two viewers asked why Buffett’s companies are preventing and deterring net metering in Nevada. Buffett responded: “We don’t have a problem with net meters, and we’re the leading in renewables in the country among regulated utilities. The [unintelligible] we do not want our million-plus customers that do not have solar to be buying solar at 10 and a half cents when we can turn it out for them at 4 and a half cents or buy it at 4 and a half cents. So, we do not want the non-solar customers, of whom there are over a million, to be subsidizing the 17,000 solar customers. Now, solar customers are subsidized through the Federal Government — as we are, with our wind and solar operations ourselves. … “In Nevada, [Musk's company, SolarCity] had an arrangement for a very limited number of people — and the public utility commission decides this — they had an arrangement where the utility had to pay way above market for solar produced by these 17,000 homes, and that —“ The interviewer interrupted to clarify: “For instance, if I have solar electricity that I’m producing, that’s more than I need, I can sell it back to you…” Cont'd...
