Optimize your mobile power system with lithium battery technology

Clayton Power is now introducing a online system calculator for easy and convenient dimensioning of your lithium power system.

Clayton Power is now introducing a online system calculator for easy and convenient dimensioning of your lithium power system.

The beneficial properties of lithium allows for optimized fast and efficient charging and plenty of energy at a low weight. This makes lithium the best choice for onboard mobile power systems, for special purpose vehicles, where it is possible to charge a 100Ah battery by 50% in just 50 minutes of driving.

By entering basic information about your system voltage, driving time per day and daily power consumption it is possible to easy and efficiently dimension your system. Furthermore you will receive a list of components you need in order to get the complete system, covering your specific needs. In terms of the number of required batteries, we will provide three possible solutions based on your driving pattern.

How to use the System Calculator
1. Select the battery voltage
2. Select average driving time per day
3. Select consumption and operating time
4. Mark the appliances which has to operate simultaneously
5. Check out the system proposal and the optimized

The system proposal
The system proposal is based on consumption without any charging during operations or while driving.

The optimized battery size
The optimized size of the battery is calculated on the basis of the operations being performed at different locations, with the alternator charging while driving in between operations.

The maximum optimized
The maximum optimized battery size is calculated on the optimal driving pattern between operations, with the alternator charging while driving.

Kipp & Zonen - DustIQ the novel soiling monitoring solution for solar panels

Soiling of the panel glass is one of the major problems in the rapidly expanding solar energy market, with the attendant loss of efficiency and reduction in performance ratios. Now, there's a new, simple and very cost-effective alternative. Based on Kipp & Zonen's unique Optical Soiling Measurement (OSM) technology, DustIQ can be easily added to new or existing solar arrays and integrated into plant management systems. The unit is mounted to the frame of a PV panel and does not need sunlight to operate. It continuously measures the transmission loss through glass caused by soiling, so that the reduction in light reaching the solar cells can be calculated.
