Intersolar - OutBack Power Launches FLEXpower Radian to Save Installers Time, Labor

Renewable energy equipment manufacturer upgrades pre-wired systems with flexible inverter

ARLINGTON, Wash.----OutBack Power Technologies, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of advanced power electronics for renewable energy, today launched its new FLEXpower Radian line, which uses the acclaimed Radian inverter for flexible power scenarios in the next evolution of its pre-wired models. With the updated package, photovoltaic (PV) installers can eliminate hours of configuration and installation time and give projects enhanced capabilities and custom settings to best adapt to customers' unique environments. The result is added features for residential customers who want to take advantage of storing and selling energy when it's most convenient for them.

Residential interest in solar power and other renewable energy systems is at an all-time high, coinciding with the state incentives and utility policies that make investment in these systems attractive and affordable. To meet the growing demand, installers need equipment that's easy for them to implement and for their customers to maintain. Preassembled and pretested, OutBack's FLEXpower Radian allows installers to complete faster, high-quality installations, and at larger voltages when needed, since the main balance-of-system components ship connected in place. Depending on the site, the prebuilt system can save solar professionals as much as half a day in labor to set up.
