Working through an authorized regional distributor, Carmanah has received an order to supply 120 of its Model 601 solar-powered LED red marking lights for installation on telecommunications towers throughout Guayaquil, the largest city and main port in Equador.

This order represents a second phase in the project, and brings the number of solar LED marking lights installed to 180. Carmanah solar-powered LED lighting technology was selected for this project primarily because of its proven performance and reliability during the first phase, as well as the ease of installation and low maintenance costs.
