SOL Acquires Electronic Manufacturer Advanced Science and Technology

SOL INC. (formerly Solar Outdoor Lighting, Inc.) announces the acquisition of Advanced Science and Technology, Inc. (AST) of Stuart, Florida. AST is in the business of designing, developing and manufacturing electronic devices for a variety of applications, focusing recently on controllers for solar systems and drivers for DC lighting applications. SOL recognized the importance of the proprietary technology embedded in controllers and drivers and has been cooperating with AST for many years.
