EnerWorks announced today the appointment of Paul Heidesch as Director of Business Development for the southwestern states.

"The southwest USA is the perfect market for solar energy," says Tony Ali, EnerWorks VP Sales & Customer Allegiance. "With the sunny climate, and outstanding governmental support and incentives, we've experienced exponential growth in this region, recently adding a number of new distributors. The addition of Paul to our outstanding business development team brings an even greater focus and level of service to our distribution network and project partners."

Heidesch brings 14 years of dynamic domestic and international sales and management experience to his new position. Most recently, he was the Business Development Manager for Advanced Solar Integration Technologies, where he focused on new business development with the commercial market for solar and wind power.

"My strength lies in bringing the best solutions to my clients, and certainly using the renewable energy of the sun to heat water makes increasingly good economic and environmental sense," says Heidesch. "With our existing distributors and project partners, as well as through new channels, I'm excited about bringing EnerWorks solar water-heating technology to even more residential, commercial and industrial installations."

WS510 Secondary Standard

In the monitoring of large photovoltaic (Utility Scale), in assessing potential sites (Solar-assessment), or in up and coming electricity cost saving initiatives projects (Commercial & Industrial), the WS510 now provides the market a secondary standard pyranometer, ultrasonic wind speed, ultrasonic wind direction, temperature, pressure and humidity all in a single unit.. This sensor meets the high demands of the world meteorological organization (WMO) through the active valving at air temperature measurement and the inertia- and maintenance-free measurement of wind speed and wind direction on the ultrasonic principle. Equipped with a Kipp & Zonen pyranometer of the secondary standards, the WS510-UMB Compact weather sensor from Lufft unites the precision of a variety of meteorological individual sensors in a single all-in-one device, for the first time.
