Following the devastating May 2007 EF-5 tornado that flattened Greensburg, KS and destroyed the lives of many, the town decided to rebuild and be powered by 100 percent wind energy.

Aveda, the first beauty company to be powered by 100 percent wind energy and the largest purchaser of 100 percent Windsource Xcel Energy, is proud to support the building of this wind farm and participate in the groundbreaking ceremony.
