VICTORIA, B.C. November 20, 2009 - Streetlight Intelligence Inc. (www.StreetlightIQ.com) ("SLQ") is pleased to announce that, further to its news release dated June 19, 2009, the "National Demonstration Program" for its Lumen IQ(TM) street light optimization technology is underway.

"Demonstration kits are now being assembled and shipped to municipalities across Canada," states CEO, Vince Krynski. "Upon installation, each city will undertake a 2-month field trial to get familiar with our Lumen IQ(TM) technology and experiment with its configuration, monitoring and reporting capabilities. Upon successful trial, we will encourage each of these cities to either expand the program to a larger trial or a full phased deployment."

The National Demonstration Program involves a deployment of turnkey "demonstration installations" at up to 60 locations across Canada. The deployment is scheduled for deliveries in three phases of 20 kits each, of which the first phase is nearly complete. To date 16 municipalities have signed up for the program in the provinces of Nova Scotia, Ontario, Saskatchewan, Alberta and British Columbia, and delivery of kits are underway.

The purpose of the National Demonstration Program is to provide Canadian municipalities with an opportunity to experience how Lumen IQ(TM) technology can significantly reduce the energy required to operate their street lights and gain knowledge on how maintenance and greenhouse gas emission savings can be realized. The Program is intended to provide reliable, objective and conclusive data on the energy-savings capability of Lumen IQ(TM) technology and this data will be shared with all interested municipalities for reference as they look to adopt practical solutions for reducing their energy consumption, as well as to explore public private partnership (P3) financing for large scale implementations.

The National Demonstration Program is being funded in part through the support of Natural Resources Canada ("NRCan"), who is contributing up to $185,000, of which $58,000 has been received to-date. With an estimated 6.5 million street lights in Canada today, SLQ believes there exists a real opportunity to realize significant energy, maintenance and greenhouse gas emission savings - simply through more efficient operation of the country's existing street light infrastructure.
