DENVER — October 2010 — Krayden, Inc., a leading distributor of engineered materials, now offers Dow Corning Solar's ultra fast curing PV-8303 Sealant.
The fast curing silicone adhesive sealant is ideal for bonding and sealing photovoltaic module components including PV rail bonding, PV frame sealing and junction box adhesion. The PV 8303 provides ultra fast curing for fully automated processes using a condensation cure.
The sealant is a two-part product that uses the PV-8300 base to provide a customized cure rate. Dow Corning's PV-8303 has a UL rating of UL 94 HB; RTI 105°C and is ideal for fully automated production. The sealant delivers durability and strength for rail bonding, frame sealing and junction box adhesion, even under demanding outdoor exposures typical of photovoltaic applications. PV-8303 joins the PV-8030 Adhesive where room-temperature curing is preferred and the PV-8301, originally introduced in 2008.
