Corvus Energy Names Cec Primeau New Chief Financial Officer

Primeau brings to Corvus a unique combination of management, financial and information technology skills.

Corvus Energy, the Richmond-based manufacturer of the world's most powerful lithium-ion industrial batteries, announced today that Cec Primeau will join its team as chief financial officer.

Founded in 2009, Corvus is focused on transforming the marine, transportation and commercial energy storage industries with its release of an advanced lithium-ion battery technology that is able to store and distribute energy in megawatt sizes and has the capacity to output sustained power comparable to diesel engines in hybrid and full-electric vessels and industrial machinery. Last month, Corvus was awarded the prestigious CME/IRAP 2010 Innovation Award for new technology, as well as received recognition from the Richmond Chamber of Commerce as New Business of the Year.

Primeau brings to Corvus a unique combination of management, financial and information technology skills. Previously, Primeau held senior management positions as chief financial officer, chief operations officer and chief information officer in a broad range of industries, including A&W, FRBC, Argus Industries, PricewaterhouseCoopers and NewHeights Software.

Recently, Primeau helped turn a telecom software start up into a $20 million business. Since then, he has honed his operation and financial officer duties by working on business planning and strategy with a number of start-up businesses.

Primeau is a Certified Management Accountant and has a MBA in International Management from Asia Pacific International University.
