Plan More Efficiently with PV*SOL® 6.0 basic - The New Sprinter Among PV Design and Simulation

PV*SOL® basic 6.0 complements the existing PV*SOL® programs from Valentin Software. It is a practical tool with an attractive modern interface and new intelligent inverter design for PV systems planning for one and two-family houses.

PV*SOL® basic 6.0 enables both beginners and professional planners to rapidly design and clearly present the proposed PV system, including a yield forecast and financial analysis for the system. The menus and features in PV*SOL® basic 6.0 are adapted to the current needs and requirements of the PV industry.

Using the new "regional settings" feature, it is possible to define country-specific settings for the tariff model, the unbalanced load and the maximum system voltage, for example, for the United States, Great Britain, Italy, Austria and Germany. Editable load profiles are available for the forecast of net metering. The calculation of the number of modules on a roof can be carried out with PV*SOL® basic 6.0 either photo-realistically, with a digital photo of the house, or graphically, with freely-configurable roof forms, in which case the design of mounted systems in any orientation is possible.

With new features for inverter design, PV*SOL® basic 6.0 is the optimal design support to identify possible inverter configurations. It offers automatic inverter configuration with sorted results, as well as individual adjustment of the sizing factor. And inverters with special variable connection options for input B (2 MPP trackers) can also be designed and simulated comfortably with PV*SOL® basic 6.0. Also new is the option of entering the cable lengths and cross sections for the string, DC and AC cables. PV*SOL® basic's new database format means that useful functions such as favorites management, searching in table texts and sorting/filtering of components are now available. The comprehensive project report for the customer includes not only a summary report of the simulation results and financial analysis, but also an attractive cover, clear presentation of the system design and detailed results graphics.

All of the PV*SOL® programs' extensive module and inverter databases now contain over 11,000 modules and 2,300 inverters, which are continually updated and expanded by the automatic update function. The component data is updated online by the module and inverter manufacturers. Valentin Software then checks the data and makes it regularly available to PV*SOL® users via the update function.

The climate database of the MeteoSyn tool, which is included in PV*SOL®, contains more than 8,000 locations worldwide. PV*SOL® is available in five languages: English, German, French, Italian and Spanish and offers a service manual and the corresponding context-sensitive help facility in all five languages. Valentin Software's regular free introductory webinars for the design and simulation of a PV system make it even easier to get started.

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide

Introducing RockIt Smart Slide - the ultimate solution for fast and easy installation of the rail-less RockIt racking system on composition shingle roofs. Smart Slide conforms to UL 441 and TAS 100 (A)-95 for wind and wind-driven rain, providing a super-strong watertight seal that is achieved through compression, in most cases without the need for additional sealant. The waterproofing sealant is embedded deep into the granules of the shingle, thanks to the integrated flexible foam layer that provides cushioning. This ensures a secure fit that conforms to any architectural-style shingle. With UltraGrip Technology™, you can rely on a secure installation, as it absorbs the movement created by thermal expansion and contraction. The pre-installed sealing pads are compatible with all composition shingle roofs, making it the ideal choice, even in ambient temperatures as low as 5 degrees.
