KACO new energy opens sales office in Dubai for the United Arab Emirates, the Middle East and North Africa

KACO new energy has succeeded in doubling its presence in these emerging markets within a very short period of time.

Dubai / Neckarsulm, 17 June 2013 – Since April, KACO new energy GmbH has been

running a branch office in the Emirate of Dubai. All sales and support activities for
local partners in the MENA region are being coordinated from there.

KACO new energy GmbH is consistently pursuing its internationalization strategy. In April
2013, the inverter manufacturer opened its sales office in the Emirate of Dubai. From the
capital city of the same name, the Germany-based company, which is among the leading
suppliers in the PV industry, will serve the markets in the United Arab Emirates, the
Middle East and North Africa. The local employees are also coordinating the recently
concluded collaboration with the electronics manufacturer AEC (Advanced Electronics
Company) from Riyadh. Under the Memorandum of Understanding AEC will carry out
production and service in what is referred to as the MENA region. So with the new office
in the major commercial capital of the Persian Gulf, KACO new energy has succeeded in
doubling its presence in these emerging markets within a very short period of time.

The great importance that KACO new energy places on the markets in the MENA region
is also reflected in the choice of personnel. Andreas Seybold manages operations
together with Marc Lamsfuss. The former was Head of Sales at KACO new energy for
many years. "Against the backdrop of the global energy revolution, and with such intense
sunlight, the entire region is predestined for using solar power. Even in the local OPEC
states, we are starting to see a change of heart accepting that the only sensible way to
satisfy the hunger for energy is to use PV. We have excellent prerequisites for this here,
so why not use them? We cannot continue to pour valuable oil into the wrong channels",
says the internationally experienced Andreas Seybold who is a graduate business
administrator and industrial engineer.

The branch office in Dubai will offer its sales territory virtually the entire product range of
inverters starting at 10 kW AC and above. There could not be a more perfect match for
the dusty and very hot climatic conditions that prevail in this region than the durable and
reliable "made in Germany" quality which KACO new energy has been delivering since
1999. The project experience the company brings with it as a pioneer of inverter
technology also gives it a decisive competitive advantage in the new markets; KACO new
energy is able to make a significant contribution to the seamless planning and
implementation of complex projects in the fields of IPP and PPA in particular.
