Solar-Log® for Android OS Allows Users to Monitor Plant Performance Anywhere, Anytime from a Smartphone

The Solar-Log® Android App can monitor all plants connected to either the Solar-Log WEB® "Commercial Edition" or Solar-Log® WEB "Classic 2nd Edition."

Bethel, CT-Solar Data Systems, Inc. has introduced the new Solar-Log® App for Android smartphones at Intersolar North America July 9-11 in San Francisco, Booth 8239. The new App offers mobile pv plant monitoring and complements the Solar Data Systems, Inc. Solar-Log® product line.

The Solar-Log App provides graphic visualization of photovoltaic plant yield and consumption data displayed on an Android device. Current and past data is available as daily, monthly, annual, and total overviews. In addition, the CO2 savings from the plant, power consumption and self-consumption are also displayed. Intuitive design allows for quick navigation between different time periods with ease.

Several pv plants can be monitored by the Solar-Log® and visualized with this App. PV plants with a Solar-Log® already installed can use current data to provide insights into performance capabilities. The App caches all of the data it receives for quick retrieval-even when no Internet connection is available. The slide show mode makes it convenient to view the system continuously, so it is easy to see the plant's current power output at a glance. A home-screen widget is available making it convenient to see a direct overview of the plant.
