According to Solar Power World's newly released 2014 Top Solar Contractors list,Solar Energy World, based out of Elkridge Maryland, has succeeded in surpassing all other Maryland-based solar installation companies, taking the number one position for home solar installations by a Maryland based solar installer company in 2013. The list features 400 of the industry's most successful solar installation and development companies across the U.S. and Canada.

Not only does Solar Energy World rank Number 1 in residential solar installations in Maryland, the company now ranks 18 out of 400 for residential solar installations for the USA and Canada and 77 out of 400 for total installations including commercial projects in the USA and Canada. This achievement reinforces the company's claim that it is the fastest growing, locally owned and operated solar energy services company in the MD/DC area and one of the fastest growing solar system design and installation companies in America.
