After the completion of three solar projects, Optimum Tracker takes aim at South Africa

Meyreuil, 20 March 2015 - Optimum Tracker, a French company specialized in solar trackers development for utility PV plants, announced the expansion of its business to South Africa with the opening of an agency in Johannesburg.

Meyreuil, 20 March 2015 - Optimum Tracker, a French company specialized in solar trackers development for utility PV plants, announced the expansion of its business to South Africa with the opening of an agency in Johannesburg.

Successful completion of three solar PV plants in France
Optimum Tracker designs, manufactures and installs cutting-edge solar tracking systems for utility-scale solar power plants. One year after the first contract was signed, the fast growing company has finalized 21 MW of PV projects with top French developers.
One of them was installed on a landfill site that required adapted positioning and adjustment. Christian Malye, Technical Manager at Générale du Solaire, a French solar energy producer, said: "We have entrusted Optimum Tracker with the mission to supply and install solar trackers for our Podio Alto plant. The single-axis trackers O-Track Hz meet our expectations in terms of performance, and the project was very successful thanks to the team's professionalism and involvement." The O-Track Hz employs a patented system, Opti-Access, based on a linear activation, ensuring unimpeded rows. This technology strongly facilitates circulation and maintenance.
"With the completion of these successful projects, we can be proud of what we achieved in less than a year. Developers, manufacturers, bankers: Optimum Tracker's products have convinced all the players involved in a solar project." says Madyan De Welle, Managing Director at Optimum Tracker.

Next step: South Africa
Solar projects are rapidly multiplying in South Africa, which is largely due to the success of its Renewable Energy Independent Power Producer Procurement Program (EEIPPP), enabling the country to rank among the top ten largest utility-scale solar markets. "New investments in utility-scale in South Africa are promising and we strongly believe we can play an important role in the country's PV development. Our products are designed to significantly increase PV projects' profitability." claims Yacin De Welle, President of Optimum Tracker.
With its Johannesburg agency, Optimum Tracker will be able to fully adapt its robust and advanced solar tracking solutions to utility developers and operators in South Africa and is planning on partnering with local manufacturers and installers. Optimum Tracker confirms its strength with the completion of these successful projects and is now armed to develop its activities worldwide.
From March 23rd until March 25th, Optimum Tracker's team will be at booth i9 (level 0) at the Power & Electricity World Africa convention, at Sandton Convention Centre, in Johannesburg.

About Optimum Tracker
Founded in 2009, Optimum Tracker designs, develops and supplies advanced solar tracking systems for utility-scale solar power plants. Optimum Tracker also offers manufacturing, installation and maintenance services, adapted to any photovoltaic project's need. Inspired by agricultural machinery, Optimum Tracker creates simple and robust solutions that significantly increase solar plants' profitability. Using a patented algorithm that drives trackers to turn the PV modules towards the sun from dawn until dusk, Optimum Tracker's systems deliver improved yields of up to 27% compared with fixed-tilt structures. Building upon performance and cost reduction, Optimum Tracker developed two ranges of products: Single-axis trackers for conventional PV panels and dual-axis trackers for CPV modules. Headquartered in Meyreuil, France with agencies in San Diego, California and Johannesburg, South Africa, Optimum Tracker is working to strengthen the share of solar PV in the world energy mix and to be ranked among the global industry leaders, by expanding its activities worldwide.

Lithium Ion Battery based Power Systems for Mobile Energy

Lithium Ion Battery based Power Systems for Mobile Energy

Get an efficient power supply system based on lithium technology and receive 12V/24V and 230V/50Hz simultaneously.

The Clayton Power lithium battery system can be charged from the mains via a G3 Combi - inverter/charger, an alternator while driving or from other power sources.

Our lithium ion batteries can be connected in parallel to achieve scalable power capacity and output. Connect more inverters or inverter/chargers to get a greater 230V output and even faster charging times.

Combined Inverter/Chargers
The G3 Combi - Inverter/Charger series, is a combined 230V power supply and intelligent multi charger in one compact unit.

Lithium Ion Batteries
Built-in Battery Management System. 12V and 24V - 100Ah. Scalable up to 2000Ah.

+ Powerful + Low weight + Long lifetime + Fast charging
