Founded in 2005 by Mr. Baofang Jin, JA Solar began as a solar cell manufacturer and listed on NASDAQ in 2007. The company established a vertically integrated production chain by 2012 and expanded its operations into modules and energy storage systems. After privatizing in 2018, it completed an A-share listing on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2019.
