SPRING BLOOMS FOR RURAL ENERGY WITH RECORD ORDER BOOK

Leading UK biomass technology expert Rural Energy has revealed it has a record order book this spring – with work underway to install biomass heating systems that will generate more than 30MW of renewable heat.

The company has secured a string of deals for its cutting-edge biomass boilers across a wide range of sectors, including agriculture, healthcare, leisure, commercial property and education.

By the end of April, Rural Energy will have received orders for more than 140 biomass systems so far this year for clients, including projects with its partner network. Rural Energy's growing order book also underlines the continued development and popularity of biomass technology in the UK.

As well as a large contract with leading turkey-farming group Bernard Matthews, current Rural Energy projects also include installations of biomass systems for a number of other prestigious clients, such as seven NHS sites, Caledonian Stadium, Avon Police and a number of city councils.

Its Herz range of boilers continues to be industry-leading and the highly-experienced Rural Energy team is delivering quality, engineered solutions for clients in all parts of the country.

Paul Clark, managing director of Rural Energy, said: "We are delighted with the size of our order book this spring and the continued success we are having securing projects in diverse sectors across the UK.

"The demand for biomass technology continues to grow and we remain right at the forefront of the industry. The Herz boilers we are installing are market-leading and are some of the first in the UK to be awarded the all-important emissions certificates from Ofgem."

He added: "With a generous pipeline for 2014/15, we are on course for a record year of delivery and we are continuing to expand our team to support this.

"We have developed a number of new products and services due for launch later this spring. Our range of domestic packages eligible for the domestic RHI tariff are now live and we are looking forward to training MCS domestic installers in our new training centre to deliver this offer, so we have a busy year ahead."

Rural Energy is one of Britain's leading providers of biomass systems to a range of businesses, schools, health providers and public sector organisations, including the National Trust.

Based in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, the company has spent over a decade at the forefront of the biomass sector and is part of the Myriad CEG Group.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
