Circular Energy is naming a new Chief Financial Officer who will direct the company's financing and deal structuring activities that support their growth strategy as both a solar integrator and retail electricity provider (REP).

Circular Energy has named Steve Sheaffer as Chief Financial Officer. Steve will direct Circular Energys financing and deal structuring activities that support their growth strategy as both a solar integrator and retail electricity provider (REP). Steve will also be responsible for partnering with debt and equity providers that have a desire to participate in the growing distributed solar energy market.

Steves background is in financial and operational experience in retail and wholesale energy sales. Steve has held a variety of leadership positions in the energy industry, including most recently as President and Chief Executive Officer at Zonesty, an innovative online energy broker. Prior to joining Zonesty, Steve served as Vice President at Constellation Energy and also worked at Reliant Energy and Direct Energy.

Steve received a B.B.A. in Finance from the University of Texas, Austin and a M.B.A. in Quantitative Marketing from Rice University.
