Under the expansion, Circular has partnered with local power utility AEP SWEPCO to help them increase participation of commercial and industrial facilities to utilize their energy efficiency and renewable energy programs.
AEP SWEPCOs solar rebate program pays for thirty percent of the cost of the associated solar energy system. This rebate, coupled with available federal incentives which pay for an additional sixty percent of system costs, allows customers to receive a four year payback on their investment.
"Circular Energy develops customized financial products that can allow customers to go solar without any upfront investment. Our new coverage in Arkansas allows organizations to take advantage of local rebates and incentives which will enable the projects to stay cash flow positive throughout the life of the financial product," said Mark Rangel, Executive Vice President of Business Development at Circular Energy.
"However, there is a finite amount of money available in AEP SWEPCOs energy efficiency program budget, so customers need to act fast in order to secure rebate dollars for their solar energy system to allow them to start saving today," Rangel added.
