RENAC will launch its e-learning platform RENAC Online in Spanish on April 2016
BERLIN--The German company Renewables Academy (RENAC) works to make knowledge on renewable energy available worldwide. After 7 years offering online trainings in English, RENAC will launch its e-learning platform RENAC Online in Spanish on April 2016. The objective of this initiative is to enable professionals in Latin America to access an industry which provides great opportunities in the region.

RENAC Online in Spanish includes courses on the fundamentals of renewable energy technologies - photovoltaic (PV), wind energy, biogas and PV-diesel hybrid systems -, as well as specific trainings for those who need to deepen their knowledge. These specialities are Certified PV Professional (PV and PV-diesel hybrid systems) and Certified Renewable Energy Project Developer (project planning and financing with a focus on PV, PV-diesel hybrid systems, biogas or solar thermal for hot water production).
RENAC Online staff follows a rigorous quality assurance process for the elaboration of training materials. That is why they have become Certified European E-Learning Managers. Furthermore, RENAC Online offers extensive support via the forum and the virtual classrooms. Additionally, the courses comprise didactic material for download, video lecturers, graphics, charts, case studies and self-evaluation tests. Those who successfully pass the final exam will also receive a RENAC certificate.
Until now, about 850 participants from the whole world have studied with RENAC Online. According to a Certified ReGrid Manager - CRGM participant (training offered in English), "as an engineer in charge of the power generation systems in the Directorate of Electricity of Morocco, I have used the CRGM knowledge in the process of developing and updating the national plan of power capacity reinforcement for the period 2015-2025"
