Archer & Greiner Guides McGraw-Hill on Legal Aspects Of Record-Setting Solar Energy Project

largest privately-owned, net-metered solar project in the Western Hemisphere.
Archer & Greiner has successfully handled permitting, land use approvals, tax issues, the
Power Purchase Agreement and the Solar Land Lease, as well as other contracts, for McGraw-
Hill, a global leader in financial information and education.
The 14.1 megawatt, state-of-the-art, ground-mounted solar array is being developed on a
50-acre parcel adjacent to McGraw-Hill' s two office buildings, including a 180,000-square foot
data center. The energy produced by the project is expected to reduce McGraw-Hill' s annual
global carbon emissions by the equivalent of about 10 percent and significantly lower the
company' s long-term electricity costs.

Jersey Resources renewable energy services provider.
Advised regarding land use approvals and permitting by state, county and local
government agencies.
The project is expected to eliminate carbon dioxide emissions equivalent to removing
approximately 2,488 cars from the roads or power serving 4,000 homes per year.
