FRONIUS USA SOLAR ELECTRONICS DIVISION LAUNCHES NEW FRONIUS SERVICE PROGRAM

Program certifies PV installers to complete board-level replacements in the field

Portage, Ind. (May 21, 2013) – The new Fronius Service Program helps photovoltaic (PV) system installers maximize customer energy yields by certifying them to complete board-level replacements in the field, reducing system downtime to minutes instead of days. Launched by the Fronius USA Solar Electronics Division in March 2013, the Fronius Service Program will offer training sessions frequently throughout the year for the Fronius IG, IG Plus and CL grid-connected PV inverters, along with the Fronius DATCOM data communications system for individual PV system monitoring.

"Fronius USA is dedicated to empowering PV system installers, along with the entire solar distribution chain that supports Fronius USA products, with the necessary know-how to positively impact their customers," said Thomas Enzendorfer, Director of Sales and Marketing, Fronius USA Solar Electronics Division. "Through hands-on factory training by Fronius USA experts, the Fronius Service Program empowers PV system installers with the information they need to ensure fast, accurate servicing that limits system downtime."

Each two-day Fronius Service Program training session allows installers to earn eight North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) credit hours. When participants pass the program's evaluation test, Enzendorfer said, they will be certified to complete board-level replacements at a customer site, which is more efficient than other inverter systems that have to be completely removed and shipped to the manufacturer. That delay increases PV system downtime and reduces energy yield, which impacts system return on investment.

"Fronius USA takes pride in manufacturing the industry's premier PV inverters, as well as offering world class customer service, which it has been doing for more than 20 years in the U.S. and globally," Enzendorfer said.

Upcoming Fronius Service Program training sessions covering Fronius IG and IG Plus PV inverters will be held June 4-6, 2013, at Fronius USA headquarters in Portage, Ind.; June 11-12 and 13-14 in Morristown, N.J.; and July 10-12, 2013, in San Francisco, in conjunction with Intersolar North America. Separate training sessions will be available later this year for Fronius CL inverters and the Fronius DATCOM data communications system.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
