Contributed by | ElectrIQ Power

Tell us about your company.

ElectrIQ Power is a leading energy storage and management company that is developing hardware and software technologies for homes and small businesses, as well as energy services for solar installers and utilities.

Your company will be exhibiting at SPI 2018, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?

SPI brings decision-makers from all over the country to one show. It is THE show to be at.

Highlight 2 or 3 products you will be showcasing at the event?

We will be showcasing the IQ System, a fully-integrated energy storage, management and monitoring system. This includes, at its base level, a 10 kWh lithium-ion battery and a 7.6 kW hybrid inverter controlled by a proprietary energy management software that maximizes the value of renewables, batteries and connected appliances.

SPI 2018 has many educational sessions & Demo’s, is your company involved in any of them this year?

We are going to be showcasing a how-it-works/case study poster during one of the educational sessions at SPI. Be sure to come check it out!

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see?  Any educational sessions you plan on attending?

I'm a big fan of looking at booth layouts and seeing how companies change their marketing messaging from year-to-year. I'll be attending as many educational sessions as I can while I'm not manning our booth.

When you book a booth for a tradeshow like this what are your expectations and what does your company hope to accomplish at the event?

We hope to make as many quality connections as we can and have a great time doing it.

A tradeshow of this magnitude is extremely busy and stressful for the staff of exhibiting companies.  Any fun things or places your team can suggest in Anaheim to help unwind?

DISNEYLAND!

LG Solar Unveils NeON R with Enhanced Aesthetics and Energy Savings

The NeON R module features "Back Contact" cell technology delivering an entirely black panel that is aesthetically pleasing and energy efficient. The cell's seamless, surface blends perfectly into nearly all rooftop designs while the module's electrodes are positioned on the rear of the cell. Using LG's N-type cell structure, the panels produce 365W of energy, up to 7.3kWp, compared to 5.8kWp of the p-type cell. The module's new design minimizes LID, thereby delivering a longer lifespan and increased energy output.
