A flagship 100MW project at the Quaid-e-Azam Solar Energy Park in Bahawalpur, Pakistan, will go online in the near future. The 40MW in Pakistan marks the pairings first cooperation beyond the borders of China.

Pakistan is currently suffering from an energy shortfall of 6GW, with demand rising by 8 percent annually. The government of Pakistan hopes to extend the project to a mega-solar project of 1,000MW spread over 6,500 acres of land.
