OPDE bets on Mexico in its internationalization
• The Company, who specialise in the development, investment and maintenance of photovoltaic farms, reinforces its presence in the country where it has been present since 2010, expanding its activity with photovoltaic installations on rooftops, in the industrial, commercial and residential sectors. • OPDE has its own office in Mexico, located in the Federal District, and the group already has 225 MW of solar PV developments constructed worldwide. • OPDE backs the Mexican market potential through the process of internationalization, since it is anticipated that by 2024, 35% of the electricity produced in the country will come from renewable sources, with solar photovoltaic energy playing a major role.
26th October, 2015.- The multinational OPDE, who specialise in the development, investment and maintenance of photovoltaic farms, increases its activity in Mexico with photovoltaic installations on industrial, commercial and residential rooftops.

With our extensive product portfolio and expertise, we are strategically betting on this market to reach its full potential. In fact, in addition to large scale installations, OPDEs offer covers industrial projects, as well as residential and commercial photovoltaic energy installations, which we believe, will be vital in the country‘s future energy mix" a statement from an OPDE director said.
To bring to fruition this new boost to its presence in the Mexican market, OPDE uses its vast international experience, and has a combined development and construction of 225MW in solar photovoltaic farms located in Italy (48,8 MW), United Kingdom (69,8 MW) and Spain (105 MW).
In addition to Mexico, the company is also active in the USA and Chile, currently having 800 MW in development.
