Your company will be presenting at NABCEP CE Conference, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?

As a technical trainer and product development manager over the years, the NABCEP Conference has always been a great event for me. I would call it the All-Star solar conference because it’s attended by some of the most technical installation and design professionals. It tends to be less business and finance talk and more technical installation and codes.

What can an attendee to your presentation expect to learn this year?

Best practices for roof mounted installations and new product solutions. There’s also some good info on roof snow load versus ground snow load which seems to be a confusing topic in the industry.

Any new or recently released products you will be showcasing?

Yes! We have a new Flat Tile Hook and will also be giving a sneak peak to what’s around the bend for new product releases. Come to the booth to find out more!

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see?

New methods of mounting/racking, wire management solutions, storage solutions.

How about Panel sessions, do you intend to sit in on any of these this year? 

I hope so but I will also be a moderator and a panelist for two other sessions:  

Moderator - Major Updates: Structural, Fire, and Electrical Codes and Standards

Panelist – Worker Safety

When you book for an event like this what are your expectations and what does your company hope to accomplish at the event?

I love to connect with installers to hear what challenges they come across on the roof and get feedback on our products in order to develop better solutions.
