Q&A with Panasonic, The NABCEP Continuing Education Conference

Contributed by | Panasonic

Your company will be presenting at NABCEP CE Conference, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?

Panasonic’s long history of quality aligns well with NABCEP’s mission of providing “quality credentialing and certification programs for practitioners.” Together we will continue to help solar contractors provide high quality PV and energy storage systems.

What can an attendee to your presentation expect to learn this year?

Attendees will receive an overview of the leading high efficiency module technologies, including HIT, as well as a dive into lithium ion battery technology and the residential energy storage market.

Any new or recently released products you will be showcasing?

Yes, we are excited to show our new AC module, Smart Module, and HIT+ product line up. These products will continue to raise the bar on module performance and efficiency, as well as simplify the installation process.

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see?

It will be interesting to see the energy storage landscape. There are many new inverter and battery technologies that will launch in the coming years, as ESS deployments are expected to grow nearly 200% YOY.

How about Panel sessions, do you intend to sit in on any of these this year?

It will be great to attend the Codes & Standards session, as there will be many changes and updates in the coming years to accommodate energy storage. Additionally attending the Solar Economics panel session should be extremely valuable for solar contractors, as the economics of energy storage can be complex and vary significantly across different markets.

When you book for an event like this what are your expectations and what does your company hope to accomplish at the event?

NABCEP is a great event for us as it gives us an opportunity to connect with some of the highest quality solar contractors across the country. We hope that we can provide meaningful content, products,  and information that will further foster the level of quality among NABCEP certified practitioners.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
