US Navy Buys SA Solar Floodlights
The United States Navy base in Djibouti buys solar floodlights from SolEnergy, Cape Town.
SolEnergy who specialise in both solar powered LED floodlights and mains powered LED lighting have recently supplied the United States naval base in Djibouti with 45 LED solar powered floodlights for use on the naval base. Earlier in the year the same lights were supplied to the US Army in Iraq and used for security lighting. Special modifications were made to these floodlights incorporating bomb proof casings and glass.
Colin Wilkinson The Group CEO says that the replacement of Fluorescent tubes with LED tubes particularly to large commercial and industrial users is rapidly becoming a major part of their business due to the massive power savings that LED lighting products are able to offer.
