ABS Consulting Appoints Business Development Director for Renewable Energy, Europe
Charlotta Norén has been appointed Business Development Director of Renewable Energy, Europe, for ABS Consulting. Based in London, Norén has the overall responsibility for business development and roll-out of ABS Consulting Renewable Energy Services in the region.

Based in London, Norén has the overall responsibility for business development and roll-out of ABS Consulting Renewable Energy Services in the region. Her appointment was effective October 28, 2010.
She has been involved with the wind business for almost five years, including project and quality management of wind farms, quality assurance and quality control of wind turbine technologies, process quality audits at wind turbine manufacturers and component sub-suppliers, risk assessment of wind turbine technologies and wind farm projects, Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) consultancy for wind turbine technologies and wind farm projects and project management of offshore wind farm project certification. Her experience also includes serving as global project manager of wind turbines for a certification and inspection body.
Most recently, Norén served as QHSSE (Quality, Health, Safety, Security and Environmental) Manager for the Belgium Offshore Wind Farm Project BELWIND. This offshore project being installed on the Bligh Bank, a sand bank at 46 km off the Belgian coast, consists of 55 x 3 MW wind turbines with a total capacity of 165 MW. The farm will produce approximately 550 GWh annually.
