PPC appoints new senior vice president of sales to assist in company expansion

Mannheim, 08. December 2010 +++ Power Plus Communications AG (PPC), the leading provider of Broadband Powerline Communication systems (BPL) for smart grids, has appointed a new Senior Vice President of Sales.

Dr Uwe Braun takes up his new position this month and will be working to develop PPC's international market presence as the company, which was last month named as one of the fastest growing cleantech companies in Europe by Clean Tech Connect, expands internationally with the growth of the smart grid industry.

Dr Braun comes to PPC with a wealth of experience from GE Energy, where he had been employed since 2003, holding the title of 'Sales Director Europe, Substation Automation' followed by 'Sales Director, Meters, West Europe'.

Before Dr. Braun held the position of Sales Director EMEA at Omicron electronics GmbH.
