REHAU Forms North American Construction Services Department

REHAU has created a new construction services department dedicated to addressing the dynamic needs of its construction industry customers using renewable energy, HVAC and fenestration systems.

LEESBURG, Va., February 22, 2011 - REHAU announces the creation of a new construction services department dedicated to addressing the dynamic needs of its construction industry customers using renewable energy, HVAC and fenestration systems. The department will deliver services including design engineering, channel management and professional training, all aimed toward elevating REHAU customer success in providing integrated, optimized sustainable building technologies.

"The REHAU construction services department is focused on assisting our customers as they navigate an ever-changing construction industry, especially in relation to sustainable building systems," said Bill Johansen, director of construction services. "Providing quality design and training services, in addition to acting as a knowledge resource for emerging building trends, technologies and certifications, the new department will provide comprehensive, ongoing support as a value-added extension of our construction product and system sales efforts."

The new REHAU construction services department will support best practices in the design, distribution and installation of construction technologies, with an ultimate goal of ensuring optimal long-term operation and integrated functionality on a whole-building level. This includes system design that accounts for each technology's independent operation, while also planning for optimized operation in relation to other building technologies. In addition, the department will include staff dedicated to professional training and technical support, as well as those focused on implementing strategies in relation to Energy Star, LEED, Passivhaus and other energy and sustainable building ratings and certifications.

"REHAU's aim is to apply a solid foundation of engineering and industry knowledge to help our customers confidently implement integrated, optimized and long-range sustainable building solutions," Johansen said.
