Energy Fundamentals is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Markus Hummel as Director

Zürich, 23rd January 2012, Energy Fundamentals is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Markus Hummel as Director. The appointment coincides with completion of a full corporate rebrand and strategic review as the company looks to build on its position as a key provider of fundamental market data, management intelligence and analysis platforms to the European power industry. Responsible for driving sales across Europe, Dr Hummel will assist the company in bolstering industry understanding and driving market awareness of Energy Fundamentals' European Power System Insight (EPSI) platform.

Dr Hummel brings extensive experience of the energy market – including analysis of legal, commercial and technical aspects, as well as European industry benchmarking. Prior to his appointment, Dr Hummel was Partner and Commercial Director at Enerbility Software, responsible for finance, marketing and sales. During his time at Enerbility he negotiated the successful sale of the company to Triple Point Technology in December 2009. Dr Hummel received his MBA at the University of Oxford and PhD at Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration (WU).
