Located in North East Victoria, the community solar hubs program that encompasses various rooftop home energy systems will be fully completed by the end of 2012 with a total installed capacity of nearly one mega watt. To date, over 280 home energy systems have been installed and grid connected.
The program was funded through Sustainability Victoria, a local government agency aimed at facilitating environmental sustainability in the use of resources. ZEN Energy Systems ("ZEN"), a leading Australian solar energy system integrator, acted as the solar energy systems project partner responsible for project installation and retailing.
