Equal Earth Expands Footprint; Growth Driven by Customers Seeking Alternative Energy Choices

Equal Earth, upon recently securing $90 Million to finance clean energy projects, is expanding its footprint. The company announced that it is developing grid-tied and off-grid residential solar projects in Hawaii, acquiring a 20 MW wind farm in Texas, and will be expanding its ESCo.

Just two months since Equal Earth reported $90 million in new funding, the company has been expanding and continues to grow its portfolio of renewable energy assets. Growth is being driven by commercial and residential customers seeking greater alternative energy solutions.

In the past few weeks, Equal Earth announced that the company is:

- Acquiring a 20 MW wind farm located in Lubbock, Texas.
- Acquiring a portfolio of solar projects at colleges and residences in the Midwest.
- Funding the development of new residential off-grid and grid-connected photovoltaic systems in Hawaii.
- Expanding its Energy Services Company (ESCo) which includes commercial energy audits and LED retrofits.

"Our rapid growth is being driven by the increasing number of customers seeking clean energy solutions and significant energy savings," stated Equal Earth Chairman, President and CEO, Andrew Duggan. "Whether it's a business, school, or residence – our aim is to offer clean energy choices and financing solutions that help customers to save money while positively impacting our environment," added Duggan.

According to Duggan, the company is "just getting started" and will continue to make "strategic acquisitions" that augment the firm's existing portfolio of renewable energy assets.
