Intersolar - Steca Solar Electronics at Intersolar North America: performance, innovation and quality

Award-winning off grid PV systems at booth 8741

SAN FRANCISCO and MEMMINGEN, Germany, May 21, 2015 -- The electronics manufacturer and leading Memmingen-based supplier of solar electronics Steca was awarded several times last year for its Dual MPPT peak charge controller Steca Tarom MPPT 6000-M. The unit won the OTTI innovation prize and the coveted Intersolar Award 2014. No small surprise, since the controller takes a leading role in off-grid PV applications. With its 3.6 kW, the appliance is suitable for all lithium-ion batteries. In addition to complex charging algorithms, the charge controller features battery diagnosis, a long-term data logger and a high level of efficiency. The Tarom MPPT 6000-M is the first and only charge controller to achieve a conversion efficiency of 99% as actually measured in the field.

Especially flexible: the Steca Tarom 4545 charge controller

The Steca Tarom 4545 solar charge controller, with 12/24 V and 48 V versions at 45 A, can be used universally for all off-grid PV hybrid systems and telecommunication applications. The new version features a multi-function graphical LCD display. The compact and attractive housing design also makes the system easy to install. Especially flexible: in addition to options for morning, evening and night lights, it also features a timer function with up to twelve timers.

High performance coupled with efficiency: Steca solar thermal controllers

The Steca TR A501 T U, Steca TR A502 TT U and Steca TR A503 TTR U high-performance solar thermal controllers feature a compact design and convenient universal installation. Configuration, programming and operation are especially user-friendly in all three controllers. The top unit TR A503 TTR U provides additional functions for individual programming and display of the yield values. The measurement data can also be stored on a standard Micro-SD card.

Vecoplan - Planning and implementation of complete processing plants in refuse derived fuel production

In order to reduce the costs involved in the energy-intensive production of cement, many manufacturers are turning to refuse-derived fuels (RDF), considerably reducing the proportion of expensive primary fuels they would normally use. Solid fuels are being increasingly used - these might be used tyres, waste wood or mixtures of plastics, paper, composite materials and textiles. Vecoplan provides operators of cement plants with proven and robust components for conveying the material and separating iron and impurities, efficient receiving stations, storage systems and, of course, efficient shredders for an output in various qualities.
