SolarMax Technology Endorses SEIA's New Business Code for the Solar Industry

Solar Energy Industries Association Sets the Standard for Transparency and Integrity for Nearly 200,000 Workers in the Solar Industry

RIVERSIDE, Calif.--SolarMax Technology, a leading solar energy systems company based in California, today announced its endorsement of the Solar Energy Industries Associations Solar Business Code. The code was created to ensure solar consumers receive affordable, competitive and ethical service across the organizations 1,000 member companies around the nation. SolarMax Technology will adopt the SEIAs recommendations and implement the Solar Business Code in its four offices in Riverside, Diamond Bar, Temecula and San Diego.

The SEIA Solar Business Code covers business transactions, advertising and customer acquisition, sales and marketing, how solar is portrayed to consumers, and terms of solar contracts. There are nearly 200,000 Americans currently employed in the industry, which has led to the construction of a nationwide system capable of powering 4.6 million homes.
