Announcing North America's Largest Energy Storage Event!
The largest gathering of storage companies in North America is set to take place at Energy Storage International (ESI) Conference and Exhibition co-located in 2017 with Solar Power International (SPI).
ALEXANDRIA, VA., October 5, 2016—The largest gathering of storage companies in North America is set to take place at Energy Storage International (ESI) Conference and Exhibition co-located in 2017 with Solar Power International (SPI), SPI, which is North Americas largest solar trade show. SPI, and its partners - the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) and the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) - are launching ESI as a co-located conference and exhibition of SPI. The move allows for more robust and cutting-edge educational content, more exhibitors representing the storage industry, and increased networking in 2017 and beyond. In 2016 there were 115 storage exhibitors at SPI, and a majority of the attendees were interested in learning more about the market.
ESI, in conjunction with the expanded emphasis on smart energy via the live smart energy microgrid pavilion, are focus areas that paint the full picture of the energy ecosystem. Adding ESI as a co-located event adds an image of more synergy between energy storage, smart energy, and solar markets. With the addition of ESI, SPI will continue to be the most comprehensive and cost-effective conference and exhibition in North America.
Solar Power International has been recognized as one of the fastest growing conferences in North America for three years running. With the number of exhibitors and attendees climbing every year, Solar Power International has been included as one of only two energy conferences, and the only renewable event, awarded the Top 100 conference and exhibition award by leading trade show magazines for the past seven years. With attendance of over 18,000 this year, three years of a sold-out exhibition space and over 6,000 attendees interested in energy storage, the co-location of SPI and ESI in 2017 will enhance the critical role that energy storage will play in the future of the solar industry.
Energy Storage International will take place Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada, September 10-13, 2017. Learn more at energystorageinternational.com.
