Ballard Inks $10 Million Deal to Power 33 Clean Energy Buses in China

Ballard Power Systems (NASDAQ: BLDP; TSX: BLD) today announced that it has signed definitive license and supply agreements with each of Nantong Zehe New Energy Technology Co., Ltd. ("Zehe") and Guangdong Synergy Hydrogen Power Technology Co., Ltd. ("Synergy") to provide fuel cell Power Products and Technology Solutions to support the planned deployment of an initial 33 fuel cell-powered buses in two Chinese cities. The deal has an estimated value of $10 million, the majority of which is expected to be recognized in 2015.

Ballard To Operate and Support Zero-Emission Bus Fleet in London, UK for Additional 5 Years

Ballard Power Systems today announced that it has signed an agreement with Transport for London (TfL) to extend the operation of eight (8) zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell buses in London, U.K. for five (5) more years. TfL first began operation of the first five zero-emission fuel cell buses in 2010 as part of its publicly stated goal to reduce CO2 emissions 60% from the 1990 level, by 2025. Three additional zero-emission hydrogen fuel cell buses joined the fleet in 2013. All eight buses are powered by Ballard's FCvelocity® fuel cell module.

Professional weather sensors form the heart of large solar plants supporting their operation and performance. Lufft was the first manufacturer to combine several sensors in one housing, bringing the largest multiparameter weather sensor family with 19 members into being. Many of them are well-suited for solar site assessment and continuous monitoring.
