SPI 2018 has many educational sessions & Demo’s, is your company involved in any of them this year?
Aside from doing periodical introduction and product sessions within our booth, none with SPI directly.
When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see? Any educational sessions you plan on attending?
Whenever I get a chance to walk the floor of any trade show, especially the Solar Power International (SPI) shows's, I make it my purpose to interact and speak with professionals and technology companies that have knowledge of the next wave in solar technology and gain perspective of where the next generation within the industry are taking solar to. In doing so, I can better communicate this to our teams in the event we can develop new product and adapt to these new trends, and position our company to be ahead of the curve.
When you book a booth for a tradeshow like this what are your expectations and what does your company hope to accomplish at the event?
Like other that participate in a trade show, we wish to optimize our presence and have a high throughput of people in our booth; with eventual interest and sales on the back of the exhibition. With this, exposure to possible new clients that may not of heard of IMO and finding interest in our products, grow to be customers. We also cement our position in the solar industry with current clients by showing at an event such as SPI.
A tradeshow of this magnitude is extremely busy and stressful for the staff of exhibiting companies. Any fun things or places your team can suggest in Anaheim to help unwind?
As much as the child in me screams Disneyland, I think taking in local sites and enjoying the city will be enough for me to cover the 5 nights we are there.
