Tell us about your company.
OMCO Solar is America’s premier factory-direct manufacturer of solar trackers and fixed-tilt solutions for distributed generation and utility-scale projects, providing a strategic winning combination of factory-direct and technical capability, including steel certainty during uncertain times.
Your company will be exhibiting at RE+, what is it that makes this an important event for your company?
RE+ is the biggest week in our industry every year. For OMCO, it gives us the opportunity as an industry expert and advocate to discuss the current pulse of solar and offer solutions, reveal new products, announce new industry partnerships, and the central meeting space to not only foster new client relationships but grow and strengthen business with current clients across every solar sector that we’re involved in.
What makes your booth a must visit for RE+ Attendees?
Two things come to mind this year off the top:

Made and supported in the US by OMCO Solar, OMCO Star comes integrated with a fast and reliable phone setup app, eliminating the need for buttons on the tracker controller, and an advanced monitoring app, saving trips to the site.
- We’re now shipping 100% domestic across all product offerings (fixed tilt and trackers) providing safe harbor options for projects of any size. This is huge because attendees will learn how we’re putting more manufacturing power into the hands of our clients by providing them with steel certainty during these uncertain times post OBBB (One Big Beautiful Bill). Developers are in a race to take advantage of tax credits before they run out and we’re best position to help them maximize these incentives with domestic module partnerships and a nationwide supply chain that delivers on time and get projects completed.

When you get a chance to walk the exhibit hall floor yourself, what is it you will be most interested to see? Any educational sessions, pavilions etc. you plan on attending?
Walking the exhibit floor, I’m interested in new innovations and solutions pushing solar manufacturing forward as well as seeing what new markets are trending up such as ai/data centers and solar farming/agrivoltaics. My fun favorite is the booth designs from the energy storage row. Those guys always bring the coolest designs.
As far as sessions, I always look forward to the policy conversation that impacts our industry. We take pride in being association members and having a strong presence on the federal and state level.
Alternative Energy is undertaking rapid advancements, be it Solar Power, Energy Storage, or Smart Grid. Data and Automation is a huge part for many companies, give us an idea on how your company and product is utilizing advancements in data and automation.
One of the biggest ways we are utilizing data and automation is in our RFQ process. Becoming even more efficient in site layout completion is a game changer for our engineers that allows them to expand offering additional services and support to our clients.
Give us your thoughts on what the future holds for the Alternative Energy Industry.
The solar “roller coaster” is moving through uncertainty at this time but the future is still bright in achieving our nation’s goal for energy dominance and meeting our growing energy demand with domestic manufacturing and supply. All energy sources are needed and solar is best positioned to be deployed the fastest towards achieving these goals.
