Everything you ever wanted to know about batteries. Learn about different batteries and proper maintenance procedures to lengthen their life - Automotive, RV deep cycle, and solar batteries. Professionals from Standard Battery will instruct us. Seminar will be held May 6th , 6:00 PM.

Introduction to Solar Energy
Learn the basics of solar energy. Topics include; photovoltaic (PV) solar panels, wind power generation, deep-cycle batteries, overcharge controllers, chargers, inverters, conservation, costs of systems, maintenance, appliances (refrigerators, cookers, evaporative coolers, etc.), lighting, RV systems, small cabin systems, emergency back-up lighting, solar water heating, solar water distilling, solar cookers, mass storage for heating, and more. Seminars will be held Saturday May 17th 10:00 AM and Tuesday May 20th , 5:30 PM.

Grid-Tie (Net Metering) - Photovoltaics and the National Electric Code:
Representatives from Las Vegas Solar Electric will instruct us how we can sell power back to Nevada Power by using a solar photovoltaic electric power generation system. If you are considering a large solar system for your home this seminar is a "must see". Seminar will be held May 24th at 10:00 AM.
