RENEWABLE ENERGY CENTRE IN INDIA RECEIVES INTERNATIONAL ACCLAIM
Renewable Energy entre, Mithrahdam, a project coordinated by the German agency VEV, Stuttgart has been selected for the solar prize 2005 by EUROSOLAR.
Renewable Energy Centre, Mithrahdam, a project coordinated by the German agency VEV, Stuttgart has been selected for the solar prize 2005 by EUROSOLAR. The prize has been awarded to Mrs. Rosemarie Zaiser, the president of the society for her tireless work to set up the renewable energy centre in South India.
The centre is the first fully solar educational institution dedicated to the promotion of environment and renewable energy. The centre conducts yearly training programmes in solar drying technology. energy production from biomass and solar P-V installations.
The centre also organises awareness programmes for school and college students in renewable energy.
