King brings more than 20 years of engineering and product management experience with significant expertise in the solar industry. He has a track record of leading cross-functional teams that deliver innovative products, on schedule, that meet both the quality and cost targets of the marketplace.

Prior to joining UniRac, King spent 7 years as Senior Engineer for SolarWorld Industries (previously Shell Solar), the largest US manufacturer of photovoltaic solar modules. Previously, King held senior engineering positions at Haskel International, Assembly and Manufacturing Systems Inc., RPC Industries, and Bechtel International Inc. He serves as Chairman, Product Lifecycle Management Technical Group, of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers.
King graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in Cambridge, MA, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He is also a Certified Manufacturing Engineer (CMfgE) SME and PE.
