Do You Know How Much Electric Motors Consume In Energy?
According to the Department of Energy, 57% of all Electrical Energy consumed in the US by Electric Motors. There are over 1 Billion Electric Motors in use in the US!
Do you know how much Electric Motors cost you?
To ensure that our Educators and Trainers are covering the importance of motor ratings at full and partial loads, Mr. John O'Brien of Toshiba International will conduct a train the trainer program. He will discuss the new NEMA Premium rating system, operational cost comparisons (Motor Life Cycle Cost Analysis), and how NEMA Premium Efficient Motors can lower power costs, and reduce energy use.
Mr. O'Brien's train the trainer session will also cover the following: Why is improving Motor Efficiency Important, What is an NEMA Premium Efficient Motor, When should a User consider applying an NEMA Premium Efficient Motor, & How should a User begin a Motor Efficiency Improvement Program?
Mr. O'Brien has over 27 years in the Electric Motor and Adjustable Speed Drive industry. He has been with Toshiba International Corporation for 21 years, and their Regional Sales Manager for 17. Toshiba is a world leader in the design and manufacture of motors, motor controls and power electronics products. Many of these products are designed, built and tested in their 620,000 square foot state of the art manufacturing facility in Houston. They have developed a totally integrated manufacturing process from research and development design, engineering, production and manufacturing to after market service and support.
