Dates announced for IntertechPira's 2nd Annual Concentrating Solar Thermal Power conference

Conference will be held May 5-7 in San Diego, CA

IntertechPira is pleased to announce the 2nd annual Concentrating Solar Thermal Power 2010 conference, scheduled for May 5-7, 2010 at the Hotel Solamar in San Diego, CA. This year's program will address opportunities and challenges for large scale solar electric generation through concentrated solar power thermal (CST) technologies. Key topics to be covered include an introduction to the current market and recent trends, the latest issues in planning and plant proposals, regulatory concerns, finance and purchasing requirements and technical developments and materials advancements.

"Last year's Concentrating Solar Thermal Power Conference, our first annual, attracted nearly 150 leaders in the solar industry," said Christopher Smith, conference producer at IntertechPira. "Building on our initial success, Concentrating Solar Power 2010 will be an excellent networking opportunity for academics, scientists, investors and businesspeople to discuss the advances in materials and technologies and the mechanics of how to bring products to market."

Concentrating Solar Thermal Power 2010 will bring together industry experts, researchers and investors to examine the latest market developments within the concentrating solar thermal power sector. The conference will feature approximately 18 expert presentations assessing market trends, technical development and application related advances through presentations, question-and-answer sessions and panel discussions. Throughout the conference, there will be a number of hosted luncheons, breaks and receptions, which will be held in and around the exhibit area located outside the main conference room. Sponsorship and exhibition opportunities are available.
