SunPods Inc Signs 5MW Supplier Agreement with ET Solar

-- SunPods Inc., has signed a supplier agreement for with ET Solar for 5MW of solar modules during 2010.

San Jose, CA -- February 26, 2010 -- SunPods Inc., a company delivering standardized, modular, factory-assembled, completely integrated and fully tested solar power generation systems with AC power output to customer sites, has signed a supplier agreement for with ET Solar for 5MW of solar modules during 2010.

SunPods announced their first product, the SP-100, in October of 2009. The SP-100 is the first factory built and tested, self-contained, ground-mounted solar array for commercial and residential customers. The SP-300 for EV (electric vehicle) charging stations and the SP-500 for agricultural applications followed in November.

SunPods reduces the largest cost component of solar systems, installation costs, by about 75%. Performing the assembly and testing of each product in a controlled factory setting, instead of on customer sites, accomplishes these dramatic cost savings.
