IPVEA is working with EU PVSEC to present the "PV Production Forum 2010" for PV manufacturing technologies at the 25th EU PVSEC and 5th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC-5) on September 7, in Vaencia,Spain.

ORLANDO, FL ― July 2010 ― The International PV Equipment Association (IPVEA), an independent, non-profit organization of manufacturers and suppliers of photovoltaic (PV) fabrication equipment and related raw materials, announces that it is working with the European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition (EU PVSEC) to present the "PV Production Forum 2010" for photovoltaic manufacturing technologies at the 25th EU PVSEC and 5th World Conference on Photovoltaic Energy Conversion (WCPEC-5) on September 7, 2010 in Valencia, Spain.

The program for the PV Production Forum 2010, an educational workshop in PV production technology, will feature presentations on several topics including silicon and thin-film production, which will be led by IPVEA members and other industry experts. The PV Production Forum 2010 will provide an essential opportunity for networking across all segments of the PV production industry along with informing its participants about the changing dynamics, technologies and developments in the PV manufacturing supply chain.

The one-day forum will take place from 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m. and will consist of three sessions: Market, Silicon and Thin Film. Breaks and lunch will be provided to attendees. Experts from within key companies will address best practices and case studies that can provide PV production management, purchasing staff and product managers with ways to increase throughput and efficiency, and to save money in production fabs.
